An Update from Collins Simms on COVID-19

In accordance with the most recent State Government guidelines, from 11:59pm on Wednesday 5 August 2020, changes will be made to the services we can provide.

As of Wednesday 5 August, the government have advised that they are still clarifying how some services in the real estate industry will be delivered during Stage 4 restrictions. We are currently responding to these new directions as they develop and will provide updates to this page once we receive more clarification.

In line with directions Collins Simms offices will close from 11:59pm on Wednesday 5 August 2020 and our team will be working remotely.

Our Agents and Property Managers remain available via email and telephone for any support or guidance you may require.

Stay safe and well and we remain available to help in any way we can.

What work is permitted during Stage 4 restrictions?
The Victorian Government has made exemptions to the current restrictions to ensure that services required for end of lease and services related to completing a property settlement can proceed.

For our recent buyers and sellers, we are able to facilitate the settlement of your property and ensure that you can move into your new home during the lockdown period.  If you have any questions about your settlement, please speak with your agent.

For our recent tenants and landlords, we are able to facilitate the end of your lease and ensure that you can move out of your rental property during the lockdown period.

Our agents are here to guide you through the process, please contact your Collins Simms agent to discuss your options.

Property Inspections and Auctions
We are unable to conduct any onsite work, which means that our office premises will be closed and we cannot visit properties or conduct buyer and tenant inspections, including by private appointment.

All inspections and auctions must be conducted online.
